In 2019, Spirii was founded by Tore Harritshøj and Torben Fog with a mission to advance global e-mobility platform offerings and make EV charging seamless and accessible for all.
Leveraging their comprehensive experience within eMobility and deep industry insights, Tore and Torben have emerged as influential pioneers in the sector. Their expertise has been crucial in developing Spirii into a renowned company, boasting a strong global partner network, customers in 18 markets, and leading offerings in charge point management software, pricing, payment, and energy management services.
In 2024 Spirii became part of the Edenred Group
Edenred is a leading global provider of digital payment and mobility solutions, spanning across 45 countries, serving 60 million end-users, and supporting over 1 million B2B clients.
This strategic alliance will further accelerate our mission to revolutionize the EV charging industry and spearhead the electrification and decarbonization of transportation across Europe, North America and Latin America

Our journey so far
Spirii was founded by Tore Harritshøj and Torben Fog with the vision of creating a more transparent, diversified, and open charging network. They brought this vision to life by creating a charging platform that enabled companies across industries to enter the EV charging market -seamlessly.
In January, Spirii launched the Spirii Go charging app, offering EV drivers seamless access to charging across operators and borders. Spirii also championed a national industry agreement to ensure all operators provide access to roaming.
This year marked a significant milestone in Spirii's global journey. We onboarded our first international customers and deployed the first internationally connected charger, expanding our platform beyond Denmark.
Spirii won the Best Global Greentech award for our innovative, industry-leading, and end-user-oriented e-mobility charging platform.
The majority shares in Spirii were acquired by Edenred. This acquisition is set to fast-track electrification and decarbonization in the transportation sector across Europe, the US, and Latin America. With this new partnership, we enter an exciting new phase of global expansion.
Our offices
Our corporate hub occupies a bright, open building in a bustling corner of Copenhagen’s Nørrebro district. Our team and purview are always expanding, and we now have offices in Hamburg, Barcelona, London, and Stockholm.
