Hillerød Municipality is replacing 18 of their fleet cars with new sustainable electric cars
The solution for
Hillerød needs charging facilities for the new electric cars in their fleet.
Hillerød Municipality has replaced half of their petrol-powered home care cars with 18 new sustainable electric cars. The new electric cars have a positive impact on the carbon footprint but also on the bottom line as the operating costs of electric cars are lower. Every night, the electric cars will charge at a Spico Z Pro charging box, ensuring that the home care and nursing staff in Hillerød are ready to visit the citizens. The employees will travel as much as 486,000 kilometres on the roads of Hillerød within the next year in the new electric cars. The switch to sustainable electric cars will save Hillerød about 59 tonnes of CO2 a year. Moreover, the electric cars are far better for the local environment as they do not emit particulate and noise pollution.
For fast charging of the electric cars of the home care and nursing service, a new connection was made to the electricity grid. This ensures a high degree of security of supply, meaning that sufficient electricity will be available when all the electric cars have to be charged at the same time. The charging boxes from Spirii meet all security standards and can charge at up to 22 kW.
Hillerød needs charging facilities for the new electric cars in their fleet. We have installed 18 charging points that come with a Spirii Connect Fleet service agreement which includes:
