Spirii and TRAVIS partner to accelerate electric truck charging across Europe
Spirii and TRAVIS have joined forces to offer an all-in-one charging solution for companies looking to establish charging infrastructure for heavy transport. The partnership ensures more and better charging options, making it easy for truck drivers to find and book charging stations across Europe.

The trucking industry is shifting toward electrification, but significant challenges are blocking the way. One major obstacle is the lack of access to a Europe-wide charging infrastructure, including the ability to locate and book charging stations in advance.
To address this issue, Spirii has partnered with TRAVIS, Europe's leading truck service platform. TRAVIS offers transport companies a comprehensive platform to find, book, and pay for essential truck services at more than 2,500 locations, including secured parking, truck wash, and charging.
Through this partnership, Spirii and TRAVIS offer an all-in-one solution. While Spirii’s platform services support the development of the charging infrastructure, TRAVIS makes the charging locations findable and bookable for transport companies across Europe. Spirii will also handle billing and administration, enabling site owners to offer public charging and create new revenue streams.
Jochem de Graaf, CEO of TRAVIS, states:
"The energy transition in the transport sector is still uncharted territory, making collaboration essential to provide Europe-wide coverage of truck chargers, going beyond the dedicated charging hubs currently under development. Through this partnership with Spirii, we enable transport companies, parking locations, and other businesses to offer chargers for their own fleet with the potential of opening them partially for public bookings."
Tore Harritshøj, CEO and co-founder of Spirii, adds:
“Our partnership with TRAVIS will create strong synergies, paving the way for a much-needed boost in electric trucking efficiency. Spirii specialises in developing future-proof charging locations, while TRAVIS ensures seamless booking and usage. By combining our expertise, we not only enable efficient charging but also unlock new revenue streams for businesses investing in heavy transport infrastructure.”
The collaboration is expected to span all European markets.
