Spirii Appoints Maria Høpfner as New COO

Spirii has announced the appointment of Maria Høpfner as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Maria previously led Spirii’s Solution Roll-Out team and is now set to expand her responsibilities as part of the company's executive management.

Maria Høpfner joined Spirii in February 2023, after serving as Vice President of Global Delivery at NNIT. Since joining Spirii, she has led the Solution Roll-Out team, responsible for implementing charging solutions in collaboration with Spirii's global partners.

Her exceptional performance in this role has now has now led to her appointment as the company's COO.

Expressing enthusiasm about her new role, Maria says:

"Over the past year, I’ve been responsible for rolling out Spirii's charging solutions to several of our largest global partners, and it’s been very rewarding to see how our organizations complement each other. In my new role, I’m eager to continue driving Spirii's growth, alongside our partners', and to strengthen cross-team collaboration within Spirii, thereby enhancing our Operational Excellence. We are entering 2024 at a high pace and with lofty ambitions."

Maria takes over the position from Spirii's co-founder, Torben Fog, who has so far managed both the COO and CIO roles. Torben will continue as CIO (Chief Innovation Officer) and as head of Spirii's FutureTech department.

Maria holds an HD in International Trade from CBS and a Master's in Communication from Aarhus University.

She has previously held several operational leadership roles at companies including NNIT, DR, and IBM.
